Abortion Regulation but No Gun Control?

Abortion Regulation but No Gun Control?

When I heard the news that Tuesday Alabama’s Senate passed a bill that now makes abortions illegal with no exceptions of rape and incest. And Georgia Governor Brian Kump signing a bill that now makes performing an abortion illegal once a heartbeat is detected and now Texas is attempting to subject women to capital punishment if they have an abortion……. I am disgusted. Alamba and Georgie’s bill is not about pro-life, it is about control! To have a government tell us what we can or can not do with our bodies is disgusting. The United States of America “The Land of the free,” but are we really free if women are being told what we can do with our bodies? I understand that this is a controversial topic and that some feel that abortion is a bad thing and that when someone has an abortion they are taking a life. Everyone one is entitled to their own opinions, but when your opinions start affecting others that’s when its a problem. If you think that abortion is bad then don’t get one, period, but how dare you make that choice for someone else. I rather make that decision for myself than have the government make it for me because I know what’s best for myself.

This is a topic of discussion for women, men can’t get pregnant so they will never be in the position to have an abortion or not. Abortion is a deeply personal and physical experience that some women have to decide upon in their life, this should not be a political issue. Until the day I see a baby come out of a man’s body, an opinion about abortion should never come out their mouth. The government fails time and time again to understand the real issue at hand, which are GUNS. Instead of politicians trying to play doctor and make abortion illegal, they need to be making guns illegal. More than 100 mass shootings have happened this year in the U.S according to the Gun Violence Archive. With more than 100 people killed and 300 people murdered. These numbers continue to rise as the days go on, which is sad because the government is doing nothing about them. I thought New Zealand introducing their new gun control bill after their shooting last month at two Christchurch mosques, would be an example to the U.S, but sadly it wasn’t. No women who have ever had an abortion has murdered a roomful of strangers, but somehow abortions got banned quicker then assault rifles…….

As a woman, I will continue to speak on women’s lives and our freedoms. As women in a society that we live in today, we are already seen below men and men as being superior. This is MY BODY SO I MAKE THE RULES #rantoverfornow

Lil sis, you cease to amaze me! You took the thoughts out of my head and wrote it down so perfectly. I’m so proud of you!!! Each point made and expressed very well… but back on topic… it’s really scary the direction the world is going in. And mind boggling that some people don’t see anything wrong . Whew, Jesus has got to be coming back cause it is not adding up. Anyway, waiting for the next one already ❤️❤️❤️

Now this is an empowering blog post! Thank you for taking your time to articulate every word and every sentence in the greatest way possible. You being brave and writing something so strong is definitely going to get people talking. Speaking of talking we women need to stick together through times like this to try and make change because this is the world we are growing up in and soon will have to be paying for the consequences if we don’t take action❗️

This was very much needed! Many people fail to address this topic with the right mindset, but you knew exactly what to say and put it into words. Your perspective is probably the perspective of most women out there in the world. I hope this post can encourage and motivate women to take a stand against the decisions that the world is making for them. STAND UP LADIES! I’m here for all of it. It’s crazy how bad our world is becoming…

Agreed! Women’s bodies ARE NOT a political playground. These male politicians will do anything to defend their male counterparts, but subject women to all the torture, heartache, and very traumatic experiences to follow the abortion, well the lack there of. Well said Emma !!

You damn right. It’s despicable that men still have the ability to conduct what happens in the female body. Men are able to walk away from their relationships when there is babies involved. Instead of moving forward, we are moving backwards.

Agreed! But in some parts if we are talking about “Human Rights” is it a totally bad decision? Cause, there’s a lot of controverses in this. For example looking at the rate of abortion in USA yearly…
    Congrats for you blog

This man agrees with your freedom to run your own bodies. There are more like me. Not the whole world has gone crazy.
